The process of Economic Growth seems to be a threefold activity; it requires knowledge which must be used and embodied in a prototype to create an artefact or resource and then this must be tested in a market place. There is, in fact, a fourth aspect to the process and that is the releasing of new knowledge that is created within the artefact which can then be used for the further development or creation of new knowledge or artefacts and thus the Triangle of Economic Growth is completed and the whole process may start again.
